Frank Percival Dixon was born in Elkhorn, Manitoba, Canada in April 1898 and in December 1916, aged just 18, he enlisted with the Canadian Field Artillery. He was shipped to France and was mortally wounded on 29th August 1918 during the Second Battle of Arras.What you have here on pages is a near-facsimile reproduction of the original 1937 collection of Dixon’s poems as published privately by his mother in 1937, modified very slightly to accommodate modern page formats.
